Enjoying a great day at Deception Pass waiting for the 5:44pm slack to run under the bridge. Last time we went through here was coming the other way, with Rachel’s folks, and it was our first time. We saw a boat in front of us get into trouble and luckily get spun around in an eddy and shot back out without hitting the beach. That was disconcerting to watch. They were more than 15 minutes early though, a bad call on their part.
