Curious what winds will be like on Elliott Bay?  Your best bet is to look at a weather site as to whether Seattle winds will be increasing or decreasing and then check out the WPOW1 weather buoy data.  You can get recent readings and I even noticed a 5-day chart so you might be able to align that with history and if the pattern of forecast is similar to prior days, use prior days as a a guide.(http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/show_plot.php?station=wpow1&meas=wspd&time_diff=-8&time_label=PST)  But weather is so change-y here you can’t trust anything…

Looks like possibility of light rain tonight.  And definitely chillier than last week.  Winds are light now (http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=wpow1&ts=1392667200) but have been having a tendency to climb in late afternoon lately.

Also, follow the Marine Forecast link and look for “PUGET SOUND AND HOOD CANAL” (http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/data/Forecasts/FZUS56.KSEW.html) today it says winds 10-20kts tonight.  So let’s do some racing!
